Pre-Teen 2016 Newsletter

Dear Southwest Family:

I can’t believe that this is my final Southwest Newsletter! This special year has flown by quickly and I’m grateful for all of the wonderful activities that we were able to participate in, along with all the beautiful new people that I met and friends that I made.

London and I hosted our spaghetti dinner fundraiser this past weekend and I’m very pleased that everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Papa Vino’s catered the event and we had about 300 mini cupcakes and an ice-cream bars. Everyone dined and visited while we listened to jazzy music. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend and to our terrific donors who made our Silent Auction possible. I hope that we were able to make a difference in the lives of animals and people for our non-profit partners, The SPCA of Southwest Michigan and the Common Table Food Pantry.

I hope too that I was able to touch lives, raise awareness of animal abuse and help the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

As we participate in the upcoming rehearsals for the 2017 Southwest Michigan Scholarship Pageant, I look forward to meeting more friends and being a part of handing over my title to Southwest Michigan’s Pre-Teen for 2017.

Thank you everyone for this great opportunity, for all those who stood beside me, held my hand, taught me so many great things and made this possible.
