Princess 2017 Newsletter

Dear Southwest Family,

Wow I can’t believe that it is time to head back to school. This summer went by way too fast for me. I have been super busy with preparing for the Berrien County Youth Fair, as I had to prepare a horse. I showed my aunt’s horse this year and did very well receiving two 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th place ribbons.

I attended many events throughout the summer in June I was in the Strawberry, and Flag Day Parade’s. July was very busy with many parades and the car wash fundraiser, which I was able to be in my hometown parade in Watervliet. It was so nice to see all the people in my community supporting our parade. August had me really busy with parades, fundraisers, and the southwest teen and miss pageant. I had so much fun with the Alzheimer Walk, I would have to say that was my favorite event. We danced, sang and met so many new people it was a blast. I am so excited to get to know the new Rep’s I get to spend the rest of my year with. Welcome to the Southwest Family Amber and Ashley.

As things are starting to slow down, I will be focusing on putting my fundraiser together in the next few months. I will keep everyone posted on my progress with the fundraiser and when it will be held.

Sincerely,
Kendal Jane Kiefer
